About University Week Campus Announcements
If you are entering an event for the calendar, stop!
Anyone who works at the UW can be authorized to enter events directly into the university-wide online calendar. University Week downloads directly from this calendar. To get authorization to enter your events, contact the News & Information office manager, Linda Dodson, ldodson@u.washington.edu.
Most messages intended for the University community are best presented in the "Campus
Announcements" section of University Week. Each Thursday during the academic year, University Week publishes an e-mail newsletter that is sent to the entire
UW community. To submit an announcement for
publication in University Week, please fill out the form below. You will also have the opportunity to upload images to accompany
your announcement.
Most announcements will appear in University Week mailing the week following
submission.
In rare cases, messages of compelling and immediate interest to the majority
of the UW community may be sent directly by e-mail to all UW e-mail addresses. The request must have the approval of the respective dean
or vice president.
